Alfonso XII gold 4 Pesos 1882 MS63 PCGS, KM151. Arguably the only collectible date from this fleeting, four-year series, with lustrous surfaces and fully-rendered devices. Save for a few, small marks that are concentrated on the bust of Alfonso XII, this specimen boasts tremendous appeal. Struck while the Philippines were under Spanish rule, a substantial amount of these coins were melted during the revolution in 1896, making those that survived worthy of a significant premium.
