August III silver Order of the White Eagle Medal 1741 XF, Hcz-8897 (R), Rcz-403, 52mm/58.18gms. By H.F. Wermuth. Obv. Cuirassed bust of August III facing right. Rev. Order of White Eagle atop table. A large bust type with light highpoint friction and scattered ticks in the fields. The rims are excellent. Attractive titanium tone circles the obverse legends with delicate golden reverse color. An example of slightly lesser overall quality hammered for approximately $6900 in a October 2014 auction held by Michal Niemczyk in Poland.
