Paul I Poltina (1/2 Rouble) 1798 CM-MБ MS62 NGC, St. Petersburg mint, Bitkin-48, Severin-2425. Obv. Cruciform crowned Imperial monogram with the date. Rev. Four-line legend in garnished tablet. A pleasing Mint State example of this scarce type. The surfaces display a few flan flaws, but no significant handling marks. The luster is full, with attractive, original argent-gray and light gold patina. Very scarce in this condition.
