Alexander I Rouble 1808 СПБ-ФГ AU58 NGC, St. Petersburg mint, Bitkin-71, KM-C125a. Obv. Crowned double-headed Imperial eagle with date and value. Rev. Crowned four-line inscription in wreath. A touch of golden patina over fully lustrous surfaces. The strike is nice and light handling marks are noted. By far, the scarcer of the two 1808 issues, with only two pieces certified finer by NGC.
