Alexander III 25 Kopecks 1886 AГ MS64 NGC, St. Petersburg mint, Bitkin-89 (R1), Severin-3960. Obv. Bust right. Rev. Crowned double-headed Imperial eagle with date and value. A stunning piece. This example has the initial look of a Proof, with deeply mirrored fields and frosted devices. The strike is also superb, and the lightly marked surfaces absolutely sparkle beneath the light yellow-green patina. Rare in this condition. Mintage of only 4,058 pieces.
