Empress Maria Feodorovna gold medal ND (1881) AU Details (Obverse Damage) NGC, Unsigned, Diakov-909.1A (R5), 44mm, issued to the most deserving course graduates in women's gymnastics, Obv. Bust of the Empress right. Rev. Sun's rays over six-line inscription with wreath. The strike is bold, and considerable luster remains, but the obverse exhibits numerous heavy abrasions. A very scarce gold medal.
