Saudi Arabia
Abdul Aziz bin Saud gold 4 Pounds ND (1945-46) MS61 PCGS, Philadelphia mint, KM34. Broad and intriguing, this bullion-issue features the representative US eagle on the obverse and a fineness stamp on the reverse. Struck in the US and used as a concession payment for oil to the Saudi Arabian government post WWII. Most of the original mintage was melted, making those that survived worthy of a substantial premium.
Estimate: 2200-2400 USD
