Saudi Arabia
Abdul Aziz bin Saud gold 4 Pounds ND (1945-46) AU58 NGC, Philadelphia mint, KM34. Nearly mint-state, with antiqued, golden tone and several stray ticks within the expansive fields that are noted in the grade. An interesting piece of Americana, these coins were struck at the Philadelphia mint for the express purpose of paying the Saudi Arabian government for oil. A choice example of this type, highly-collected at all levels.
Estimate: 2000-2200 USD
