A lightly toned example featuring the facing busts of Ferdinand & Isabella with a six-pointed star between and above. Struck on a slightly wavy flan that is either out-of-round or clipped on the left side, this offering presents nicely detailed features and plenty of appeal. A rare revival type of the 2 Excelentes from 1476-1516, well-deserving of a strong bid.
