Neuchatel. Alexandre Berthier silver Pattern 5 Francs 181_. UNC Details (Surface Hairlines) NGC, KM-Pn18 variant. A lovely example of this rare pattern that was re-struck at the end of the 19th century featuring the bust of Prince Alexander. Highly attractive gun-metal gray patina canvasses the surfaces and nicely camouflages the existence of surface hairlines. Seldom encountered in this silver variation, and most engaging for the type.
