Charioteer driving racing quadriga left, holding kentron and reins; above Nike flying right, to crown the driver with wreath / [ΣΥΡΑΚΟ]– ΣΙΟ – Ν, head of Arethusa left with hair falling in serpentine waves along brow line and rolled at nape of neck, wearing necklace, earring and ampyx inscribed ΣΟΣΙ / ΩΝ, four dolphins around. Tudeer 2. Rizzo pl. XLII, 2 (same dies). Gulbenkian 272 (these dies). Kraay-Himer pl. 32, 97 (these dies). Rare. Struck on a compact planchet in good metal with deep iridescent toning.
