Victoria gold 1/2 Sovereign 1855-(SY) VF35 NGC, Sydney mint, KM1, Fr-9a. A pleasant example of this elusive type featuring the young head of Victoria with flaxen-gold tone and surfaces that present abrasions which are not altogether uncommon to the issue. The 1855 is the rarest date in the series and at present there is little information regarding past sales of which to compare. So it only follows that the appeal of this specimen is not limited to just its appearance. A rarely present opportunity to own this classic issue.
