People's Republic of China. Inventions & Discoveries Kite Flying silver 200 Yuan (1 Kilo) 1992 PR64 Ultra Cameo NGC, KM422. Obv. Children flying kites with the value below. Rev. Great Wall, with date below. This massive 1,000 gram silver issue features the ancient Chinese game of kite flying with a special "butterfly" kite. A mere 250 pieces were stuck of this impressive piece. The strike is superb and the surfaces exhibit only a few minor, barely noticeable, hairlines. the fields are fully mirrored and the devices heavily frosted, yielding a stark cameo appearance. As with the previous pieces from this rare set we can reference no sale for this type since the 2011 Stack's Bowers & Ponterio Hong Kong Auction, where a PR63 Ultra Cameo example sold for $30,000. Housed in an NGC Jumbo holder. The original box and wooden case is included, with no COA.

Estimate: 20000-25000 USD
