Central American Republic 8 Reales 1831 CR-F AU50 NGC, San Jose mint, KM22. About Uncirculated and well struck, a premium coin for the designation with only scant friction evidence on the higher points and considerable subdued mint luster under the attractive toning. The strike is strong and even albeit not quite full on the tree leaves, but the quality of the surfaces are clearly superior to other examples of the type usually encountered at this certification level. Very scarce and desirable in this engaging and unflawed preservation, and worthy of inclusion in a refined set of the series.
