French Colony Proof 50 Cents 1879-A PR67 PCGS, Paris mint, KM6. A marvelous coin with outstanding surfaces sheathed in rainbow iridescence, extremely reminiscent of an aquarelle painting. The luminous, deeply-mirrored fields burst with original mint bloom, setting the surfaces alight in vibrant hues. While other specimens of this type have been offered, none have matched the technical quality and visual appearance of this particular selection, and as such, this is currently the finest-known certified example of this type. Incredibly rare and well-deserving of a premium bid.
