William IV Proof Crown 1831 PR60 NGC, Royal mint, KM715, S-3833. Incuse "W.W." - Plain Edge - Coin Alignment. Much more attractive than the PR60 grade typically suggests, with a pair of small marks on William's neck being the only noticeable contact on the surfaces. In the fields, moderate handling defines the grade, but mostly it hides behind natural gray and gold tone, failing to make a significant impact on the eye. Full design sharpness completes the appeal, with magnification revealing a minor shift between strikes. A decidedly collectible coin that's always high up on type collectors' want lists given the absence of any common William IV Crown.
