Victoria Crown 1845 MS64 NGC, S-3882, KM741. A simply beautiful specimen featuring the young head of Victoria with obverse surfaces that exhibit silvery-gray patina that brightens as it extends toward the outer register, creating a perfect golden and teal ring that frames the portrait. The reverse, while similar in tone, contains far more color that resides within the protected areas, thus providing a sensational backdrop for the crowned shield. A few minor wisps are present and noted in the grade, but ultimately do little to detract from the appeal of this offering. Rare this nice and well-deserving of attention.
