Great Britain
Victoria Proof Penny 1861 PR67 Brown PCGS, Royal mint, KM749.2, S-3956, Freeman-37 (R17). Obverse 6 - Reverse G. Highly reflective and without discernable flaws, the surfaces display a most-complimentary arrangement of vibrant toning on both sides. On the obverse, sky, royal-blue and violet-fuchsia patina intermingles in the centers with a nearly complete ring of mint red at the edges. Similarly colored on the reverse, a patch of original red surrounds the area around Britannia's trident. A single diagonal toning delineation sweeps across Britannia, and while not distracting, is worthy of mention for purely academic purposes. All considered, an exceptional proof copper of Victoria, nearly matchless in its overall beauty and preservation, and sure to thusly attract not only the specialist in the field, but also the collector with a discerning eye for quality.

Estimate: 7500-10000 USD
