Victoria gold 5 Pounds 1887 MS64 Prooflike NGC, Royal mint, KM769, S-3864, BP in exergue. An extremely rare "Prooflike" jubilee five pounds. As an illustration of just how rare it is to find this type with genuinely prooflike qualities, NGC has certified a total of 286 circulation strike 1887 five pounds. Of those, a mere 22 were given the "Prooflike" designation. In other words, less than 10% of regular issues are considered prooflike. This would suggest that it is even rarer than the proof issues, of which NGC has certified a total of 60 pieces.
