Florence - Tuscany. Leopold II gold 80 Fiorini 1828 MS64 NGC, KM-C78, Fr-343. A rare type, and only the second example that we have ever offered. The first example, an NGC MS61, sold in September, 2013 for a hammer price of $5,500. The current piece is far superior to that one, both in technical grade and eye appeal, and we expect the final price to reflect that. Among the finest known of this type.
