Italy
Vittorio Emanuele III gold 10 Lire 1912-R MS64 NGC, Rome mint, KM47, Fr-29. Outstanding in all respects, this glorious specimen celebrates Italy's agricultural prowess and boasts enjoyable, matte-like surfaces the color of pure honey. The fully-rendered design elements are most pleasing, especially the reverse motif which features attractive, allegorical imagery. From a fleeting series that was only issued for four years, this date may be the most accessible, but rarely is it encountered in this elite preservation. Also of notable importance, the 10 Lire of this date is far scarcer than its 20 and 50 Lire counterparts. A remarkable issue with tremendous eye-appeal, absolutely scarce in this deluxe quality.
