Elizabeth gold Rouble 1758 MS64 Prooflike NGC, Red mint, Bitkin-68 (R), Fr-116. Obv. Bust right. Rev. Crowned double-headed Imperial eagle with date and value. Well struck, with nicely mirrored fields and some decent cameo contrast with the devices. The assigned grade seems quite conservative, as there are virtually no significant abrasions and the only things we feel pressed to mention are die cracks (as struck) in the right obverse field. A truly stunning example of this scarce gold type. This is the only piece certified in Prooflike, and no pieces have been certified finer than MS64.
