Diademed bust of Ptolemy II right, wearing aegis / ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ, eagle standing left on thunderbolt, monogram above Gallic shield in left field, monogram in right. Svoronos 555. SNG Copenhagen 113. A beautiful example, well struck on a broad flan, with lovely iridescent toning. NGC AU★ 5/5 - 5/5.
