Republic gold 8 Escudos 1833 Ba-RS AU58 PCGS, Bogota mint, KM82.1. A lustrous coin, borderline Mint State with fully reflective surfaces and a rather attractive flan free of the defects usually encountered for this issue. Very scarce in this preservation and a good representative of this issue. A similar example also graded AU58 realized $1,811 in Sedwick's 4/2011 auction.
