Saxony. Friedrich August II silver Ducat 1747 MS65 NGC, KM939a. This is the silver striking of the gold Ducat. Issued to celebrate the marriage of Prince Friedrich Christian, heir to the Electorate of Saxony, to Maria Antonia of Bavaria. With a frosty white appearance and near flawless surfaces. Friedrich August was both Elector of Saxony and king of Poland. The finest of two examples certified by NGC.
