Cnut (1016-35) Penny 1024-30 MS63 PCGS, Winchester mint, Æthelstan as moneyer, North-787, S-1158. + CNVT | REX AN, Bust left wearing pointed helmet, a scepter held in front / + ÆÐELSTAN ON PIN, Short voided cross, two circles with a pellet at the center; in each angle, a pellet enclosed in a broken annulet. Lustrous and superbly struck with lovely blue overtones in the patina.
