Charles II silver "Battle of Lowestoft" Medal 1665 AU Cleaned, Eimer-230. MI-503/139. 62mm/90.1gms. By Roettier. Obv: Laureate draped bust of Charles II right. Rev: King as Roman general watching naval fleet from ashore. Struck during the war against Holland. A classic medal with its impressive naval depiction on the reverse. Once moderately cleaned and now nicely retoned with a couple more visible pinscratches to the right of Charles' bust on the obverse.
