George III bronze Proof Pattern 1/2 Penny 1799 PR64 NGC, Forrer-Vol.II, pg.170. Struck by Colonel Fullerton, this proof pattern features the bust of George, Prince of Wales as Steward of Scotland with glossy, cherry-brown surfaces and semi-reflective fields. Commonly thought of as a Scottish pattern, this is actually a British coin as the reverse design depicts the Arms of England. Most attractive and highly interesting. From The Law Collection
