Victoria silver "Golden Jubilee" Medal 1887 UNC Details (Surface Hairlines) NGC, BHM-3219, Eimer-1733. 77 mm. The official Royal mint issue and one of only 2,289 pieces struck. The obverse features the left-facing veiled bust of Queen Victoria and the reverse depicts the enthroned Empire flanked by Science, Letters, and Art, with Industry and Agriculture right, and two cherubs above with shields engraved with MDCCCLXXXVII and MDCCCXXXVII. In exergue, there are five, linked shields with continental inscriptions. A Lovely, hairlined proof with deeply-mirrored fields and attractive, darker tone that clings to the devices.
