Ferdinand VI Cob Denomination Set 1747-1752, A charming set, only the 4 reales being holed, with all dates remaining bold and clear. Last sold in a 1997 Superior auction where the 8 reales was cataloged as Calbetto-155 (a very rare 1852/41 variety). After inspection of the Calbetto plate (which isn't clearly illustrated) and the coin (in Fine condition), we are uncertain of this attribution. Housed in a custom screw-tight holder.From The Santa Maria Collection
