Republic Peso 1879-D AU53 NGC, Guatemala mint, KM201. Quite a decent example for the type, with limited friction evidence on the high points and some remaining mint bloom. It must be noted that both the 1893 and 1892 dates of this type are very rare (the latter being excessively so with only two confirmed specimens) so this type is usually represented by an example of the present coin.
