A Trio of Coins from the De Liefde Wreck 1665-1711, including (1) Ducatone of Philip IV dated 1665 and two (2) pieces from Utrecht both dated 1711: a Silver Rider and a gold Ducat. The coins average F/VF, all with saltwater damage. The De Liefde sank November 7th, 1711 with almost all of her 300 hands off the Shetland Islands. Recovery efforts began with the discovery of coins in August of 1965. This lot includes a display case with minor damage to the foam insert.
