Alexander II Proof Polushka (1/4 Kopeck) 1869 EM PR62 Brown NGC, Ekaterinburg mint, Bitkin-444, KM-Y7.1 (unlisted as proof). Boldly struck, with bluish-brown patina. The fields are nicely mirrored and some spotting is noted on both sides. Although the circulation strike of this issue is not particularly rare, we can find no previous record of a Proof striking of this date and mint. Only this single piece has been certified in Proof by NGC and PCGS combined.
