CHITTAGONG: undetermined name, 16th century, AR tanka (10.60g), "Fathabad", AH"993", G-B1020 (this piece), Mitch--, Goron suggests that the date is an error for AH939, when the Arakanese briefly occupied the Bengali city of Fathabad, fabulous strike., nice VF to EF, RR. Most of the Persian text is blundered and unreadable, but the design above the reverse represents the Arabic text kafi Allâh (God sufficeth). Same obverse die as illustrated specimen for B1020.
