SOUTH AFRICA: George V, 1910-1936, AR 2½ shillings, 1923, KM-19.1, lovely strike, for a date that is common in lower grades, but almost impossible to find in superb grades (except for the proof issue), NGC graded MS64. A similar coin, also graded MS-64 by NGC, sold in the Heritage Long Beach signature auction (September 2009) for $4750.
