MADAGASCAR / EAST AFRICA: AV dinar (3.98g), A-A1192, contemporary East African imitation of common type of al-Mu'izz (A), same dies as previous, but one side shows evidence of modification or touching up, date & mint blundered, choice EF, RR, ex Diego Suárez hoard. From a group of gold coins mounted into a gold belt which was found by divers off Diego Suárez (Antsiranana), Madagascar circa 1955-1965. Please note that all specimens from the belt have had mounts removed.
