YUAN: Zhi Yuan, 1285-1294, AE cash (4.25g), H-19.17v, inverted crescent above on reverse, Fine, RRR, ex Zhao Quanzhi Collection. Kublai Khan (Zhi Yuan) was the fifth Khagan (Great Khan) of the Ikh Mongol Uls (Mongol Empire), reigning from 1260 to 1294, and the founder of the Chinese Yuan dynasty, a division of the Mongol Empire. Seemingly an unpublished type and perhaps a temple issue of which many types exist of this reign title.
