CELTIC, Durotriges. Uninscribed. Circa 65 BC-AD 45. Fourée Stater (19mm, 4.91 g, 2h). Durotrigan E, Abstract (Cranborne Chase) type. Devolved head of Apollo right / Disjointed horse left; pellets above, pellet below, pellet in lozenge above tail, zigzag and pellet pattern between two parallel exergue lines. Cf. Van Arsdell 1235-1; cf. ABC 2157; cf. SCBC 366. Good VF, toned. Well centered and struck on a broad flan.
