ANTIN OOΣ • OKTIΛIOΣ • MAPKEΛΛO • C O (IP)ЄYC TOV, bareheaded and draped bust right / • АΔΡΙΑΝΟΣ • ωKOΔΟΗΣΕΝ (Hadrian built), shrine of Antinoüs: statue of Antinoüs standing within aedicula set on basis set on raised floor; all within elaborate two-story tetrastyle temple façade with four steps; intercolumnations decorated with figural panels; above, entablature with ornate frieze; in pediment; ibises flanking winged caduceus; below shrine, crocodile right, preparing to consume ibis. Attwood 1239. VF, toned.
