LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 510-470 BC. AR Nomos (24.5mm, 7.93 g, 12h). Medium incuse type. Ear of barley with seven grains / Incuse ear of barley with seven grains. Noe Class IX, 194–5; HN Italy 1482. Good VF, toned, a little die rust, small nick in field on obverse. Rare with retrograde ethnic.
