CILICIA, Laertes(?). Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. Æ Medallion (45mm, 50.43 g, 6h). Homonoia with Stratonicaea. AVTO [KAI?] Λ CЄΠTI CVHPOC (sic) ΠЄP, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / ΛA[ЄPT]ITΩN(?) KAI CTPAT-ONIKЄ, on left, Zeus Panamoros on horseback right, holding scepter; to right, Ares (or hero?) standing right, brandishing spear and holding shield; OMONOIA in exergue. Missing from Franke & Noellé and the major published collections. VF, earthen green patina, some smoothing.

Much of the name of the first city in the legend (i.e., that of the issuing authority) is frustratingly unclear.
