Antoninus Pius. AD 138-161. AR Denarius (19mm, 3.11 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck AD 148-149. Laureate head right / Salus standing left, feeding from patera a snake coiled around altar and holding rudder set on globe. RIC III 181; RSC 281. Good VF, lightly toned, minor flan crack and edge splits, area of roughness along edge on the reverse.
