Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. AR Denarius (21mm, 3.49 g, 1h). Rome mint. Struck AD 207. Laureate head right / Victory standing right, with left foot on helmet, inscribing round shield set on palm tree. RIC IV 211; RSC 489. Good VF, lightly toned. Struck on an exceptional oversized flan.
