KINGS of THRACE, Macedonian. Lysimachos. 305-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (29mm, 17.00 g, 9h). Lysimacheia mint. Struck 297/6-282/1 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, spear behind; herm to outer left (barely visible), two monograms to inner left. Thompson –; Müller –; Meydancikkale 2595–6 var. (same upper monogram); Seyrig casts (ANS photofile) 180.1 and 188.8. Good VF, toned, area of flat strike on reverse. Rare.
