Cuneiform Votive Cone. From Lagash, time of Gudea, 2141-2122 BC. Tip from fired clay votive nail, recording the rebuilding of one of the temples in Lagash. Standard inscription, beginning "To the god Nin-gir-su; the mightly man, the satrap Gudea,(details of specific dedication), dedicates this or some variant. 2.75" long.
