Colima Shaman. An excellent Colima figure from West Mexico, ca. 300 BC â 300 AD. This beautifully detailed Teco type figurine is 5-3/4â high and depicts a shaman. He is posed standing and is wearing the horned head emblem signifying his elite status. Incising and texturing is used to indicate clothing and he is adorned with a necklace and perforated ear ornaments. Intact, good mineral deposits. Ex Llerenas collection.
