BITHYNIA, Flaviopolis (as Cretaia). Caracalla. AD 198-217. Æ (27mm, 9.53 g, 7h). AV K M AVP ANTΩNINOC, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / ΚΡΗΤΙЄΩΝ ΦΛΑΟY, river-god Billaios reclining left on rocks, holding crowning Nike and reed; ΒΙΛΑЄΟC in exergue. Cf. Helios 3, lots 331-2 (for issues of Septimius Severus and Geta, respectively, of the same rev. type); otherwise unpublished in the standard references. Fine, light olive-brown surfaces. Extremely rare.
