PHOENICIA, Tripolis. Elagabalus. AD 218-222. Æ (34mm, 26.54 g, 1h). Dated SE 531 (AD 219/20). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Figure of Tyche-Astarte standing facing, foot on prow, within temple consisting of central archway with approaching steps and two pedimented wings with four columns each; AΛΦ (date) in exergue. Rouvier 1763 var. (placement of date); SNG Copenhagen –; BMC 118; AUB 50. Near VF, dark green patina with reddish earthen highlights/deposits. Large medallic flan.
