JUDAEA, Herodians. Agrippa II, with Domitian. Circa 50-100 CE. Æ (19mm, 5.52 g, 12h). Caesarea Maritima mint. Dated RY 26 of the second era of Agrippa II (85/6 CE). Laureate head of Domitian right / Nike-Victory standing right, foot on helmet, inscribing shield resting upon knee; crescent to left. RPC II 2281 = Meshorer 165c; Hendin –. VF, brown patina. Very rare, with only one example cited in RPC (Hebrew University, Jerusalem).
