Jovian. AD 363-364. AV Solidus (20mm, 3.88 g, 12h). Constantinople mint. Struck AD 363. D N OVIANVS [sic] P F PERP AVG, rosette-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Roma and Constantinopolis enthroned facing, supporting between them shield inscribed VOT/ V/ MVL/ X in four lines; CONS[P]. Cf. RIC VIII 169; cf. Depeyrot 9/1. Near VF, clipped, scratches or graffiti on obverse. Probably an engraver's error, omitting the first letter of Jovian's name in the obverse legend.
